Pulp Cafe in Kuala Lumpur

When I got off at MidValley station, I wasn’t too sure how to get to Pulp Coffee, but I held my printed Google map and told my patient wife that it was over there, beyond the sea of buildings. After crossing a highway, a railroad track and a river, we ended up pretty much a hundred meters from the coffee shop. We did get lost at one point and walked into a mega mosque

This unique and very beautiful coffee shop is almost hidden in front of a industrial printing company.

Cafe Bimi in Fukuoka

Since I arrived in Japan and started discovering coffee shops, I have been recommended many places by coffee shop owners and Cafe Bimi was of course one of them.   The owner of Orizuru in Okayama  told me about Cafe Bimi a while ago since he is a good friend of the master and they travelled together to Africa to visit coffee farms in Ethiopia and Yemen.   Let’s just say that Cafe Bimi which is located in Fukuoka city is just as charming and delicious as I was told it would be.

Hakuba Baisen Coffee Roaster

It was my third day surviving on 7/11 coffee when I walked into Hakuba Baisen.  I recently spent some quality time in the mountains of Nagano Prefecture and enjoying the cool air of Hakuba and Omachi, but my coffee addiction needed some quality fuel. By chance, I found Hakuba Baisen in a hiking magazine.

Drinking a Clover made Reserve coffee at the Honmachi Starbucks
