I’ve been to Hirome Market in Kochi so many times that I have pretty much lost count.
We decided to pay a visit to the market before the winter and I was happy to discover fresh persimmon juice.
Persimmons are in season now and I think this is an amazing way to showcase their amazing taste.
The old lady who was preparing it told my wife that persimmon juice is better with a dash of yuzu juice. I will take her word for it since it was so good. They also had fresh pear juice, but the liked the persimmon better.
Only one more reason to go back to Kochi.
