When I googled up Malacca , I found that the city was famous for chicken rice ball and by luck, one very early morning, I ended strolling aimlessly in front of Kedai Kopi Chung Wah on Jonker street. The open door and the absence of a huge line just drew me in.

We spent 5 days in Malacca which turned out to be a long and boring 5 days filled with amazing food. Malacca or Melaka is a stunning beautiful city, but you can visit everything in 2 days. We started and ended our visit to Malacca with the life changing Pak Putra tandoori chicken. Yes, tandoori chicken can be this good!

We got off the train at the beautiful Ipoh station, walked to our hotel and waltzed into Lou Wong almost right away to enjoy our first beansprout and chicken. Lou Wong is apparently the most famous restaurant in Ipoh.
