When I visited Hong Kong, roasted goose was high on my list of things to try. Yat Lok with its Michelin star piqued my curiosity. It’s very popular and most definitely worth a visit.
I walked in Yat Lok pretty late and it turned out to be a mistake since they ran out of many items on the menu. I was told that char siu, roasted pork, always ran out early.
They had plenty of roasted geese.
Simple, delicious with the most amazing crispy skin. Simplicity on a plate. If you are a fan of Anthony Bourdain, this is the goose he was raving about. It’s good, but I am sad I could not order some pork with it. I guess, arrive early.
Yat Lok has soups with roasted goose in it, I looked delicious but I was unfortunately born with only one stomach.
